Ingredients
Paint: Fluid acrylics: Viridian (dark green), Yellow Green Light (light green-note lime), Cobalt Teal Hue (light but bright blue), Quin Gold (rusty looking red/brown), Raw Umber (dark brown)
gesso: black and white
Modelling paste
Embossing powder and versafine (I used: Backed Texture ‘Ancient Amber (warm honey colour), Baked Texture ‘Patrina Oxide (green and copper) and Stampendous ‘Seasoning” (coper/gold)
crackle glaze

Finnabair Sparks:Dragons Eye (or Gold paint)

Ideas for embellishments: metal/greyboard/mdf: cogs, butterflies, flowers, filigree pieces, watch faces, old jewellery, stars, all those bits you’ve been saving
Pre Class Prep - Put Modelling paste roughly on the heart(s), I've embedded a watch face in the big heart and taken it out for the paste to dry, We’ll be putting it back in once we've painted and crackled the heart
Glue the house together, then gesso the front in white and the back and sides with black (paint or gesso will do, just know that the front is going to have a lot of water washes so make sure its sealed.
I put a bead of liquid glass (glossy accents will do too) down the middle of the metal butterfly.
